| Description: | The City of Medford is seeking sealed proposals from qualified firms to provide a data backup hardware solution. The desired solution will be a Disk to Disk backup appliance that incorporates deduplication technology for day to day backup/restore operations and disaster recovery. Proposals will be received by the City of Medford, Purchasing Manager's office, third floor, Room 390, 411 W. 8th Street, Medford, Oregon 97501, until 2:00 pm, local time, September 15, 2010.
As soon thereafter as possible, the proposals will be opened publicly.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The City of Medford is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide a data backup hardware solution. The desired solution will be a Disk to Disk backup appliance that incorporates deduplication technology for day to day backup/restore operations and disaster recovery.
The Request for Proposal packet may be obtained from the office of the Purchasing Manager, 411 West 8th Street, Room 390, Medford, Oregon 97501, by calling (541) 774-2035, or from our website at www.ci.medford.or.us.
In accordance with ORS 279B.100 the City of Medford may cancel the procurement or reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public Proposal procedures and requirements, or may reject for good cause, any or all Proposals upon a finding of the City it is in the public interest to do so.
Proposals received after the time established for receiving proposals will not be considered. FACSIMILE PROPOSALS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.
