The Medford City Council Study Session was called to order at 6:00 p.m. in the Prescott Room of Medford Police Station on the above date with the following members and staff present:
Mayor Gary Wheeler; Councilmembers Clay Bearnson, Dick Gordon, Eric Stark, Kevin Stine and Michael Zarosinski; City Manager Brian Sjothun, Deputy City Manager Kelly Madding, City Attorney Rick Whitlock, Deputy City Recorder Winnie Shepard; Councilmembers Kay Brooks, Tim D’Alessandro and Alex Poythress were absent.
Council Visioning
City Manager Brian Sjothun presented a PowerPoint and provided an update on the status of various portions of the City’s vision. (PowerPoint attached.)
During the presentation, staff reported on the concerns, goals and activities of their department.
Council extensively discussed the services provided for the homeless, as well as the housing crisis and the mental health services offered.
Council President Stine provided a brief overview of the Council Officers meeting.
The meeting adjourned at 8:13 p.m.
