The Medford City Council encourages resident participation in municipal government and welcomes your interest to serve your community by volunteering on a city board, commission, or committee.   Our community is growing and this is an excellent opportunity to add your voice to those who govern our city. 

Each board and commission is unique and may have its own set of requirements to meet the needs of the community.  Regular meetings are scheduled with dates and times listed under each board or commission.   In the event there are no action items to discuss the regularly scheduled meetings will be canceled.

Appointments to city boards and commissions are made either by the Mayor or the City Council, or both, as in the case of the Budget Committee and the Water Commission. Terms on the various boards and commissions expire on January 31 of each year, and in September the City starts recruiting applicants for upcoming vacancies.
