The Planning Commission shall act as the advisory agency to the City Council for all Class "A" and "B" actions as set forth in Section 10.111, Authority of the City Council.
The Planning Commission shall conduct its meetings in accordance with Roberts Rules of Order unless other rules are adopted by the Commission.
The Commission serves as the approving authority for the following land use reviews:
It studies and reports on all proposed code amendments referred to it by the City Council. When reviewing any such proposed amendments, the Planning Commission shall submit its recommendation and findings to the City Council.
The Commission shall review chapter 10 and report on same to the City Council at least once every five years. Specifically the Planning Commission shall:
It serves as the Committee for Citizen Involvement per the Comprehensive Plan.
The Planning Commission acts on the authority provided by Medford Municipal Code Section 10.110(D) through 10.110(G) and the Oregon Revised Statutes Section 227.010 through 227.300.
