The Hospital Facilities Authority of Medford is managed by a Board of Directors composed of seven members, consisting of five at large members and two City Councilmembers. 

The duties of the Board shall include, but not be limited to the following:

  • General power of authority of the Board of Directors is outlined in ORS 441.525 through 441.595.  Except as otherwise provided by ORS, the Authority has all powers necessary to accomplish the purpose of providing hospital facilities for the people of Medford.
  • The Board acts as a conduit that allows non-profit hospital facilities to float tax-free bonds.


The Hospital Facilities Authority Board acts on the authority provided in the Oregon Revised Statutes 441.525 through 441.595 and Medford Municipal Code Section 2.448.
