Medford Municipal Court only handles misdemeanors and violations issued by Medford City Police within the city limits of Medford. If you received a citation from another police agency, you should refer to your citation for the proper court in which to appear. Did you receive your citation from a state police officer? If yes, then chances are you are scheduled to appear in the Circuit Court of Jackson County. Refer to our “Other Area Courts” page for address and phone information on other courts in our region.
The Medford Municipal Court does offer a traffic school program. You should contact the court to see if you are eligible for this program. You can also refer to the program information section of this website for more information.
You should always contact the court immediately to investigate the status of your case and discuss your options. Failing to appear or pay a citation can result in collection action, suspension of your driving privileges and, in some cases, a warrant for your arrest. These types of actions result in additional costs to you.
Your license can be suspended for many reasons. Your local DMV is the best place to start, where you can request information on the pending suspension. If your suspension is due to outstanding fines in this court, you should contact us for your options.
Fines are due and payable when the fine is imposed. We accept cash, checks and Visa/MasterCard. Sorry, checks are not accepted when a warrant or suspension request is in effect. If you are experiencing a financial hardship, you may apply for a payment agreement with the court.
We can handle many citations by phone with a credit card. Visa and MasterCard are accepted over the phone when you are paying a fine in full. You may also pay on-line with your credit card by clicking on the "Online Services" link located at the top of this page.
