Three top priorities: Public Safety, Jobs, Smaller government and local control.
I believe I can make a positive contribution to my community. Managing our growth will be our biggest challenge heading into the future. Given our proximity to I-5 and our strategic location between Portland and San Francisco, growth is inevitable. Given our physical restrictions of limited land mass surrounded by mountains we must take great care in how, when, where and why we grow. It will take broadminded, enthusiastic and creative leaders to create and maintain a sustainable economy and lifestyle in our valley. I have been working for more than eight years preparing to take on a leadership role in my community and feel it is now time for me to step up to the plate, be counted and participate at the city council level.
Her current term expires December, 2014.
