Fire Chief Dave Bierwiler notes "At this time, we are focusing on the needs of the families of Engineer Gurr and Firefighter Wells. In addition, we are taking steps to make sure that the needs of our remaining staff are also addressed as they deal with the tragic deaths of our colleagues. Firefighter John and Engineer Gurr lived life to the fullest. Their enthusiasm will be missed.”
