Many of Medford’s historic commercial and residential buildings are included in various surveys and listings available either online or at the Southern Oregon Historical Society, and the Ashland and Medford branches of the Jackson County Library.





Surveys and Inventories

  • Summit-Fairmount Neighborhood Survey: Results of the 2013 Reconnaissance Level Survey of one of Medford's oldest neighborhoods.
  • Phase I and Phase II of Survey of Historic and Cultural Resources for the Downtown Commercial Area, Medford, Oregon; City of Medford Planning Department. Phase I covers the 30 blocks that were created by the Original Town Plat of Medford. Phase II covers the area outside the Original Town Plat but within the boundaries of the proposed Historic District.
