As lead agency, and with dedication, the City of Medford and Medford Fire Rescue continue the ideals that Safe Kids Rogue Valley Coalition pledges to "fight preventable childhood injuries", under direction of SAFE KIDS WORLDWIDE and  OREGON SAFE KIDS COALITION

The Rogue Valley Coalition is proud of the diverse membership that worked hard together bringing the local Chapter to Coalition status; the first Chapter to become a Coalition in Oregon! This Nationally recognized achievement could not have been accomplished without the support of the City of Medford and the leadership and dedication of Medford Fire Rescue. Through this Coalition, the members have pledged to help SAFETY become a part of every Rogue Valley citizen's way of life.

The Coalition's goals are a multifaceted approach to childhood injury; community action, education interventions, public policy initiatives, media efforts, observation and evaluation.
