Alba Park

West 8th Street (across from City Hall)

Formerly known as City Park and Parco D' Alba, Alba Park is a 1.5-acre neighborhood park located at 301 W. Main Street in downtown Medford across 8th Street from City Hall.  The site boasts a World War II Japanese Type 41 75mm Mountain Gun which replaced a World War I German Cannon. The German Cannon was donated to a Camp White drive for scrap metal in 1942. A beautiful Italian carved Carrara marble statue along with granite fountain and benches were donated to the City in 1934 as a memorial to Charlie W. Palm. The fountain and statue are still at the site.
