Table Rock Rd. and Morningside St. – Left Turn

 
 
Sealed proposals addressed to Cory Crebbin, Public Works Director, City of Medford, Oregon, endorsed “Table Rock Rd. and Morningside St. – Left Turn" will be received at the office of the Public Works Director, 200 S. Ivy Street, Medford, OR 97501, until 2:00:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 25, 2019, and thereafter will be opened publicly and read and will then be referred to the City Council.
 
This project is located at the intersection of Table Rock Road and Morningside Street within the City of Medford and Jackson County, Oregon.
 
This project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to widen Table Rock Road at Morningside Street in order to place a left turn lane.
 
Pay items include, but are not limited to the following: 1,200 ft sawcutting; 630 yd3 general excavation; 1,100 yd2 sub-grade geotextile; 370 ft storm sewer pipe; 5 concrete inlets; 1,200 ton aggregate base; 360 ton HMAC; 60 ft curb and gutter; 1,385 ft striping removal; 3,000 ft longitudinal pavement markings - paint.  Completion date: June 30, 2019.  Cost Range: $100,000 - $500,000.  Class of Work: Earthwork and Drainage.
 
The proposal may be obtained Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at the City of Medford Engineering Office, 200 S. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check equivalent to 10% of the proposal payable to the City of Medford, to guarantee that if a proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured.  A Bid Bond to like effect and amount with a corporate surety will be acceptable for this project.  Bids must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidders.
 
All Bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids.
 
All of the provisions of Section 279C.800 through 279C.870 ORS, as amended by Senate Bill 477, relating to wage rates to be paid on all contracts for Public Works in this state must be complied with and the statement attesting to the contractor's willingness to do so must be signed and submitted with the bid.
 
All bidders must state at the appropriate place in the bid documents, whether or not the bidder is a resident as defined in ORS 279A.120. A percentage increase, as determined by the Department of General Services, will be added to nonresident's bids for the purpose of determining the lowest qualified bidder.

Neither the contractor nor his subcontractors will need an asbestos abatement license to perform the work set forth under this notice.
