The City of Medford requests proposals from qualified firms for the Design, Development and Hosting of the City of Medford Website. The City of Medford has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) in order to select and contract with a company (“vendor”) to create a new website www.cityofmedford.org that is a modern, highly attractive and responsive web design.
The current website was redesigned in 2017 and is hosted and maintained by Project A, Inc.
The City of Medford is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced website development companies to design, develop and implement its public-facing website. The chosen strategic partner must be a firm that has experience in managing local government website design projects, and expertise with best practices regarding:
- successful website design
- information architecture
- website development and deployment
- website hosting
- social media integration
- search engine optimization
- responsive design
Sealed proposals may be submitted electronically through BidSync or by sealed paper proposal. Sealed paper proposals may be submitted to City of Medford, Jennifer Huston, Purchasing Agent, 411 West 8th Street, Room 380, Medford OR 97501, until 2:00 PM, local time, September 4, 2019. Proposals must be marked in the lower left corner “RFP 19-009 CM - Design, Development and Hosting of City Medford Website”. FACSIMILE or EMAIL PROPOSALS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. Late proposals will be kept by the City, but not considered for award.

The City of Medford reserves the right to reject any and all proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and may reject, for good cause, any and all proposals upon the finding that it is in the public interest to do so. The City reserves the right to waive any and all informalities if it is deemed in the best interest of the public.
The City of Medford will accept the proposal which in their estimation will best serve the interests of the City. The City reserves the right to award the contract to the firm or individual whose proposal, upon evaluation, shall be best for the public good.
