Sealed bids for the Oregon Hills Park Phase II project will be received by Jennifer Huston, Purchasing Agent, City of Medford, 411 W 8th Street, Room 380, Medford, Oregon 97501, until 2:00 P.M. local time, on August 17, 2016.
As soon thereafter as possible, the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.
DESCRIPTION: Contractor will provide all labor, equipment and materials required to construct an illuminated basketball court system, picnic shelter, landscaping and irrigation, woodchip trail, concrete flat work, drinking fountain, fences, retaining walls, ADA basketball court access ramp, and two modifications to ADA access into existing play area elements.
Project to be constructed at the foot of the beautiful Roxy Anne Peak in the Oregon Hills Park in Medford, Oregon.
There will be a MANDATORY pre-bid conference and walk-through at 2:00 PM on August 2, 2016. Interested parties must be present to be eligible to submit a bid. The pre-bid conference will be held at the Santo Community Center, 701 N Columbus Ave, Medford, OR 97504. Immediately after, an on-site walk-through will occur at the Prescott Park entry gate parking at the southerly Prescott Park boundary, Medford, Oregon. 97501.

In accordance with ORS 279B.100 the CITY may cancel the procurement or reject any Bid not in compliance with all prescribed public Bid procedures and requirements, or may reject for good cause, any or all Bids upon a finding of the CITY that it is in the public interest to do so. The City also reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to delete certain items listed in the bid as set forth therein.
All Respondents must state at the appropriate place in the Bid documents, whether or not the Respondent is a resident as defined in ORS 279A.120. A percentage increase, as determined by the Department of General Services, will be added to non-resident's Bids for the purpose of determining the lowest qualified Respondent.
Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Bidders on this work must comply with Federal Construction Labor Standards and with all other applicable federal governmental requirements including, but not limited to equal employment opportunity actions as specified. BOLI prevailing wages are required for this project.
This project does not contain asbestos abatement work and the contractor or (any) subcontractor will not be required to be licensed by the Department of Environmental Quality (ORS 468A.720).
This project is a prevailing wage project. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement by the bidder stating the provisions of ORS. 279C.800 will be met.
