REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS
LOCAL WETLAND INVENTORY FOR URBAN RESERVE AREAS
The City of Medford is accepting Submission of Qualifications for completion of a Local Wetland Inventory for wetlands and riparian corridors within approximately 2,400 acres located in the City of Medford’s Urban Reserve Areas (URA) and an additional 1,800 acres of park land within the URAs all being considered for inclusion in the City’s Urban Growth Boundary. Submission of Qualifications will be accepted at the City of Medford Planning Department, 200 S Ivy Street, Medford, OR 97501 until 4:00 P.M. local time, January 5, 2015.
The City is evaluating the expansion of its current Urban Growth Boundary area and seeks compliance with Statewide Planning Goal 5 (Natural Resources). The City must adopt a local wetland inventory that identifies the locally significant wetlands and the riparian/wetland areas surrounding streams, creeks, or waterways within the identified areas. The completed inventory shall be consistent with Oregon Administrative Rules (OAR) 141-86-180 through 141-86-240. The rules for designation of significant wetlands appear in OAR 141-86-300 through 141-86-350. Any existing wetland determinations and delineations on file with the Department of State Lands (DSL) shall be identified in the inventory and incorporated in the final product. The standards and guidelines for local riparian inventories and designation of significance appear in OAR Chapter 660.
The wetlands shall be mapped for use with the City’s Geographical Information System (GIS) in an appropriate projection usable by the City of Medford.

The City of Medford may cancel the procurement or reject any or all proposals In accordance with ORS 279B.100.
Proposals received after the time established for receiving proposals will not be considered.
