TENNIS COURT RECONSTRUCTION
AND RESURFACING
AT FICHTNER-MAINWARING PARK
ITB14-039PR
 
Sealed bids for the reconstruction and resurfacing of tennis courts at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park, will be received by the City of Medford, Oregon, by Jennifer Habermann, Purchasing Agent, City of Medford, Room 380, Medford, Oregon 97501, until 2:00 p.m. local time, on August 19th, 2014.  As soon thereafter as possible, the bids will be opened publicly and read aloud.
 
This project is a prevailing wage project. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement by the bidder stating
that provisions of ORS. 279C.800 to 279C.870 will be met.
 
DESCRIPTION: The City of Medford Parks & Recreation Department has been tasked with the
reconstruction and resurfacing the (8) tennis courts at Fichtner-Mainwaring Park, which involves a
reconstruction of (4) tennis courts and resurfacing (4) additional courts.
 
The Contractor will provide all of the required materials and equipment as detailed in the specifications. The courts are to be constructed utilizing the American Sports Builders Association (ASBA) for tennis courts construction.
 
There will be a NON-MANDATORY pre-bid walk-through at 10:00 AM on August 7th, 2014. A set of contract documents may be obtained by going to the City of Medford website at www.ci.medford.or.us.

The Owner may reject any bid not in compliance with all the prescribed bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause, any or all bids upon a finding it is in the public interest to do so. The City also reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to delete certain items listed in the bid as set forth therein.
  
Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered. Bidders on this work must comply with Federal Construction Labor Standards and with all other applicable federal governmental requirements including, but not limited to equal employment opportunity actions as
specified. BOLI prevailing wages are required for this project.

Any contract or contracts awarded under this Invitation to Bid are expected to be funded by The City of Medford Parks & Recreation department. Neither the United States nor any of its departments, agencies, or employees is, or will be, a party to this Invitation to Bid or any resulting contract.
