Location of incident: Human Bean / 1831 E Barnett (1845 Hours)

On March 8th, 2017 at around 1704 hours, a suspect contacted two employees at the rear of the business and then ordered them back inside. He was armed with a knife and attempted to rob them but they had already secured the money in the safe. This robbery was unsuccessful, and the suspect rode away southbound on Riverside on a mountain bike. 

About 1 hour and 40 minutes later (1845 hours), a very similar Robbery occurred at the Human Bean on Barnett. The suspect rode up on a bike and demanded money. The victim in this case believed that the suspect was armed with some type of weapon. This suspect also rode away on a bike.

The description of the suspects is very similar, a White Male Adult ranging from 20’s to -40’s wearing dark or black pants and hoodie.

These cases are possibly related and are under investigation.
