On March 16, 2017 at 10:34 am, Medford police officers were dispatched to Central
Medford High School for the report of an 18 year old student, Paul Gonzales, who
arrived to school intoxicated. Gonzales was reported to be on probation and the Juvenile
Detention Hall requested Gonzales be detained. When the responding officer attempted to
take Gonzales into custody his family disordered themselves and interfered with the
arrest. A juvenile probation officer and a school truancy officer were present during the
incident. Officers were able to take all four subjects into custody. The subjects were
lodged at the Jackson County jail for the listed crimes.
