National Preparedness Month: Learn Life Saving Skills

Think Ahead

Week 2: Learn Life Saving Skills

September is National Preparedness Month and this year the overarching theme is Disasters Happen. Prepare Now. Learn Now.

This week we're focusing on learning life-saving skills. Whether it's taking a CPR class or learning how you can best protect your home in the case of a wildfire, take a moment this week to focus on how you can better prepare yourself in case of an emergency.

Tips to keep in mind:

Mark your calendar! The Emergency Preparedness Fair is this Saturday, September 15 at the Rogue Valley Mall from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

More than 40 emergency agencies and non-profit organizations will have vehicles and equipment on display, preparedness & safety item prizes, along with valuable information to help you before, during and after a disaster.
