The Code Enforcement Division operates out of the Medford Police Department as a branch of Special Services. The primary mission of Code Enforcement is to provide assistance to the public in enhancing livability within their neighborhoods. It is hoped that communication with your neighbor can result in a solution, but understood that this is not always an option.
Code Enforcement is responsible for various code issues such as abandoned or prohibited parked vehicles, graffiti, junk or garbage accumulation, obstructions in the right-of-way, and many other potential violations. If you’re not sure if something is considered to be in violation, don’t be afraid to give us a call. If we’re not the ones to assist you, we will direct you to the appropriate agency or find an answer and get back to you.
Code Enforcement can be reached at 541-774-2016, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8AM-5PM. Or, you can place an online code enforcement request by clicking on the "Code Enforcement Request Form" link under "On-Line Services/Forms" on the main page for the Police Department.
