The City Recorder serves as the clerk of the City Council and Water Commission and is responsible for attending all City Council meetings and preparing official minutes. The Recorder is responsible for preparation of the City Council agenda, maintaining ordinance and resolution records, prepares official meeting and legal notices and processes and maintains all official documents and minutes of the city. As clerk of the board of water commissioners, the City Recorder is the custodian of all official documents, papers and records thereof. The City Recorder also serves as the City Elections Officer and Records Manager.
