Under the direction of Battalion Chief - Fire Marshal Chase Browning, the Fire & Life Safety team consists of four Deputy Fire Marshals and one Administrative Assistant. The Division is tasked with preventing fires and promoting fire and life safety through:

  • Origin and cause fire investigations.
  • Fire and life safety public education.
  • Fire code operational and construction permits/inspections.
  • Plan reviews/inspections of fire protection systems.​​ 
  • Land development reviews for code required fire department access and water supply.
